Chat room With NetMessenger you have the opportunity to choose a subject, join that subjects chat room and communicate with people which share your interests. If you are looking for a chat room which doesn’t yet exist, it’s easy to create one yourself. When a chat room is created, it can easily be connected to many different news sources from the Internet a.k.a. Rss feeds (read more about this under "About our services" on the website). These Rss feeds will empower the chat rooms of NetMessenger in many ways, especially for users who wants cutting edge information in real-time. NetMessenger enables you to easily add a chat room to your own website. Just left-click 'Chat room info' on the top in the chosen chat room, cut the link of the chat room and paste it in your websites HTML code. This will make it possible for you to communicate with your websites visitors in various discussions. This feature is particularly interesting for websites focusing on fan clubs, music, film, travelling etc.

Contacts When you are using NetMessenger you will meet other users in the different chat rooms. You can save other users to your Contacts if you want to have another communication in the future. For saving a contact you click on the personal icon to the right of the person in the chat room. You can always communicate in private with your contacts. If you have a friend at NetMessenger, which 'alias' you know, you can search for that person by clicking 'Search' on the top of the Contacts area (read more about this under "What is NetMessenger?" on the website). All persons you save will show up under the folder 'Other Contacts'. You can always move a contact from one folder to another by drag and drop. When you have saved a person to your contacts, that person have to click 'manager' on the top in Contacts and accept you as a friend. You can always choose to regret a contact you don´t want to have in your contact list by clicking 'manager' and then 'Reject'.

Saved files Every user who registers for a NetMessenger account will obtain 100 MB virtual disc space. After registration, use the space for documents, messages and music saved in your own folder structure. You can always size up and buy more virtual disc space to your personal account whenever needed. As NetMessenger is a Web-based service, you will always have access to your saved files, wherever you are. Move your saved music files (and all other documents) by drag and drop them between your folders. This unique service enables you to listen to your songs, wherever you are. To save a written message, left-click the icon 'Save message' to the right of the message in a chat room. If you want to upload a document or music file to your folder(s), just right-click the folder you want it to be uploaded in, choose 'New document' or 'New musicfile' and browse to the file you want to upload. At NetMessenger, you always have your documents available wherever you are, with the possibility to sending them to other users. To send a document, click 'Send files' at the bottom of the chat room (above the text area).
